Icoustic is a local music library player for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This page describes the accessibility features we support today and how we evaluate them for the App Store.
App Store Accessibility Nutrition Labels
On devices running iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26 or later, the App Store product page can show Accessibility Nutrition Labels. We declare support only when common tasks — browsing your library, searching, playing and queuing music, choosing a zone or AirPlay destination, and adjusting settings — work with that feature.
For the current release we indicate support for:
- Dark Interface — soft charcoal by default, with an optional light paper appearance in Settings → Display.
- Reduced Motion — inspector panels and the zones picker respect the system Reduce Motion setting and avoid large sliding transitions when it is on.
We do not claim Captions or Audio Descriptions: Icoustic does not play video or spoken dialogue as part of its common tasks.
In progress
We are continuing work so more labels can be claimed honestly, including VoiceOver and Voice Control coverage for every common task, Larger Text (Dynamic Type) on iPhone and iPad, Differentiate Without Color Alone for selection and playing state, and Sufficient Contrast with the system Increase Contrast setting. Theme tokens already strengthen secondary text and hairlines when Increase Contrast is on.
Mac keyboard
On Mac, Space toggles play/pause. Digit keys 0–5 set the rating for the focused selection. Standard sheet shortcuts apply for default and cancel actions.
